CHARLES H. DROUOT

Drouot

Trying his hand at everything, Charles H. Drouot spent a few years directing short fictions and giving advice all around him, as an assistant director, script-doctor, editor or even color-corrector.

In 2010, he decides to become a producer. Hence the creation of Triptyque Films with Guillaume Massart and Thomas Jenkoe.

His first documentary film, A Doc about Dad (58 minutes, 2009, Filmover Productions), was shown in Dallas and Paris. He is now interested in hybrid forms, between documentary, fiction and essay.

The core of his work is about langage : the voice and the words of those he films, but also his own voice. According to him, art is a voice, and he loves juggling between langages and accents, but also between the arts (cinema, litterature, music).
